MOE ABBOTT - GRAPHIC DESIGN / MARKETING
There is something absolutely beautiful about a properly kerned logotype. The precision of carefully locked-in letters appeases my designer heart...that, or I just diagnosed myself with OCD. Either way, I obsess over graphic design. To say that it is a passion would be misleading. For me, graphic design is a lifestyle. I am constantly noticing, exploring, experimenting, and collecting good design, and I feel true joy via the design process and completion of a project.
My education is extremely important to me. With a BFA in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Seattle, I constantly seek out every opportunity I can to learn new skills and design techniques.
I am a problem solver, interpreter, and advocate for individuals and companies wishing to communicate with the public. My main interest in graphic design is branding, specifically through semiotics and culture studies. No matter what project I'm working on or medium I'm working through, I thoroughly research the consumer perspective, and the attributes in our culture which influence a design's success or failure. I am amazed by the human condition, and I enjoy the challenge of connecting to humanity (emotionally, intellectually, professionally...) through design.
